What is TempMailer?

TempMailer is a free, anonymous disposable email service at tempmailer.uk. It gives you an instant, working email address that auto-deletes after 10 minutes — no signup, no password, no strings attached.

The core loop is simple: arrive at the page, your inbox is already waiting. Copy the address, use it wherever you need, and watch emails arrive in real time. When the timer runs out, everything disappears.

Why does disposable email exist?

The modern internet has a spam problem. Virtually every website — forums, e-commerce stores, SaaS tools, media publishers — demands your email address before granting access. Most do this not for a technical reason, but to enroll you in a marketing funnel you never agreed to.

The result is a real inbox flooded with newsletters, promotional offers, retargeting campaigns, and eventually, phishing attempts. Disposable email addresses solve this at the root: you hand over an address that is genuinely throwaway, so there is nothing of value for marketers or attackers to capture.

How does it work technically?

When you load TempMailer, our server generates a unique mailbox under the @tempmailer.uk domain. This mailbox is live immediately — any email sent to it is received by our mail server in real time. The inbox in your browser polls for new messages automatically, so they appear without you needing to refresh.

The mailbox is tied to a 10-minute session. After expiry, the address is deregistered from our mail server and all stored emails are wiped from our database. There is no soft delete, no archive, and no way to recover the data — this is by design.

Limitations

TempMailer is designed for temporary, low-stakes use. It is not a replacement for a real email account. Key limitations:

• Emails and addresses expire after 10 minutes — there is no extension
• The service is receive-only; you cannot send or reply to emails
• Some websites blocklist known disposable email domains
• Attachments may not always be safely rendered
• We do not offer customer support for missed or undelivered emails
